BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Unveils AMORTAGE: A 4-Track Musical Journey
Jisoo of BLACKPINK will finally make her solo comeback with the album AMORTAGE after over two years of anticipation.

Jisoo of BLACKPINK will finally make her solo comeback with the album AMORTAGE after over two years of anticipation. However, when fans learned that the album only has four tracks and barely lasts 12 minutes and 14 seconds, they were disappointed. BLINKs, who had been anxiously awaiting new music from the K-pop artist, are disappointed by the album’s brief duration, even though the complete tracklist will be formally revealed on February 4 at midnight.
Many fans expected a longer tracklist because fellow BLACKPINK singers Rosé, Lisa, and Jennie produced first studio albums with 12 to 15 tracks. Given the amount of time since Jisoo’s first solo release, fans had hoped for at least six new songs, thus the four-track album felt a little lacking.

In March 2023, Jisoo made her eagerly awaited solo debut with the single album ME, which had only two tracks: “Flower” and “All Eyes On Me.” The album garnered positive reviews despite having only a few tracks, and Flower went on to become a worldwide smash. However, many fans were disappointed by the four-track announcement because they had anticipated that she would return with a more substantial offering this time.
Despite the initial setback, BLINKs have some good news: Jisoo is rumored to have started working on her upcoming album, which she says would have even more songs.
In order for fans to experience the music as a whole trip from beginning to end, the singer individually chose songs for AMORTAGE that fit with the album’s particular subject and concept.
