But as per reports, the actor will have his working birthday as he is shooting for his next film Jersey, which is is yet another south Indian remake film with the same title. Talking about his film, he said the film remains close to his heart and he feels happy to work on his birthday on the sets of Jersey which he likes the most.

Talking about Shahid’s next movie – Jersey, it is a film based on a struggling cricketer who makes his comeback in the sports in his last thirties just to prove his son who calls him his real hero. Shahid plays this role and it is a remake of a Telugu movie with the same title. The Hindi Jersey is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
