Bihar Court Orders for an FIR Against actor Anupam Kher for his film The Accidental Prime Minister
Its been a year to see the film The Accidental Prime Minister starring Anupam Kher and he was castigated for the film by many for his poor performances and trying to demean the veteran politician Mr. Singh who is the former PM of India. Since this film, the actor has been often seen inside the troubled waters. Ever since the trailer of the film was released, it has remained the target of the opposition to paint their former PM in the wrong way.
The agitation seems to have come a long way as we see the Bihar Court ordering fresh orders to lodge an FIR against the actor along with 13 other people in the connection with the movie. This was done with the petition filed by Mr. Sudhir Ojas a Sr. Lawyer against the film. The court’s decision came when Ojha had filed a complaint in the court just when he has seen the trailer of the movie. He then filed a petition under the various sections of the Indian Penal Code.
These include the sections like 295, 153, 153A, 293, 504 and 120B, which concluded saying that the film has promoted the enmity between the different groups, along with the sale of obscene objects, the insult with intent to provoke breach of peace along with the criminal conspiracy. As per reports, the Local Bihar Court in an FIR has now registered against the actor and the others who have been involved like Akshaye Khanna playing the journalist Sanjaya Baru, and other actors and actresses playing the roles of the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Vadra.
