Actor Priyank Sharma recently experienced a mishap while he was in Ghaziabad. According to the actor an unidentified man at a Ghaziabad hospital on July 30, attacked and escaped unhurt apart from a few bruises. The actor had visited a hospital with his parents when a man attacked him.
Priyank stated that he had gone to the hospital with his mother for a checkup and that his father had also joined them. When they were leaving the hospital, he was attacked.
Talking about the incident, Priyank said in an interview with the publication, “Suddenly out of nowhere, this man attacked me and started hitting me. I managed to hold his hand and push him back. There was a lot of commotion. Two men from the hospital administration came to my rescue and I am really grateful to them. The guy who tried to attack me ran away. It was a scary situation.”
The ex-Bigg Boss contestant also added that he has already filed a complaint at the Kaushambi police station and said, “We tried contacting the hospital later for the CCTV footage to submit it to the police, but the hospital’s security did not give it to us. The case is filed under Section 323 of the Indian Penal Code.”
On August 2, Priyank celebrated his birthday three days later the incident. He uploaded a video, originally released by an NGO, of young children receiving cake on the occasion.
The actor rose to prominence after appearing in the dating reality show MTV Splitsvilla and then in Bigg Boss 11. He’s been in online series such as Puncch Beat Season 2 and Mum Bhai.
