Bigg Boss 16: Priyanka Choudhary’s family reacts to Nimrit’s father’s ‘paid hater’ remark, ‘Love is Earned not bought’

Television’s most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 16, is constantly bringing spicy twists inside the house to engage the audience. From Sumbul Ke Papa Ka Call to Archana-Stan Ke Bich Bawaal, we have seen everything. The latest family episode welcomed the family members of every housemate currently inside the Bigg Boss house.

While the show is already in its fourth month, audiences have chosen their favourites and are strongly rooting for them. This week, we saw Abdu Rozik become a captain of Bigg Boss 16, while Sreejita, Tina, Shalin, Sajid, Archana, Sumbul, and Soundarya were nominated. However, nobody was evicted as it was family week for the inmates.

Salman Khan met family members of participants and talked to them. During their conversation, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s father accused Priyanka Choudhary’s fans, calling them “paid haters.” This serious allegation by him didn’t go well with her family and fans.

While netizens expressed their disappointment with it, Priyanka’s team and family have now issued a firm statement criticising the accusations made by Nimrit’s father on national television. They slammed him by saying “love is earned, not bought,” giving him a hard reality check.

Read on to know what they said:

We are truly saddened by Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s father’s comments in yesterday’s episode. Sir, the great affection she has been given by the country has been earned, not bought. From having her win the MyGlamm contest with “zero bots” (yeah, we can proudly and definitely state that) to creating history with 4 million tweets, we can guarantee you that it’s all totally real and the result of the whole fandom’s work, sweat, and tears. She has received love from every single admirer because she is indeed JANTA KI JAAN! Also, like Priyanka, we don’t want to defame anyone, but now that we’re here, we don’t want our quietness to be interpreted as weakness. This is a response, not an attack. So here it is: The Paltan had a terrible time fighting bots throughout the MyGlamm contest, and now that we have been named the winners of the contest, we proudly state that our love is stronger than any number of bots. HENCE PROVED!” Team PCC & Family
