Amazon Prime Video is back with Romantic Musical Drama Bandish Bandits from August 4
Come August 4 and we have the streaming giant called Amazon Prime Video coming out with its new romantic musical drama called Bandish Bandits. The series has Anand Tiwari as its director, which features Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhry in the leading roles. These two performers have a strong but different musical backgrounds, while the show is all set to stream on the said digital platform from the next month.Â
The leading man plays a Hindustani classical performer called Radhe, while Chaudhry is essaying the character of a pop star Tamanna in the web series. It is a ten episode based series, which also has veteran actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang and Sheeba Chaddha in notable roles. The music comes from the talented music composer trio – Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who have given the music for the full-fledged soundtracks.
The makers claim that the series happens to be interesting and it offers different kinds of music, which remain diverse from each other but certainly competitive one. Talking about the series, Bandish is about a story of meeting two individuals and cultures, which seems to be different in many ways and yet remain incredible. The character is known to have a compelling and unique story to tell. The director is super excited for the show, as it has many things to give the audience.
