Recently, the news about Lata Mangeshkar getting hospitalized and being on the ventilator at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, floated all around the globe. India’s sensational singer Lata Mangeshkar has been hospitalized since then. It was being told that she is on a ventilator at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. Lata’s condition however, has been reported stable but, under observation.
Knowing the facts, several celebrities and her fans started blessing and praying for her to get well soon. Constantly soughing prayers for her well being, both celebrities and fans have even posted relative wishes over the social media too. According to media reports, Lata Mangeshkar is suffering from a severe lung infection.
Dr. Pratit Samadani, Internal Medicine Physician briefing over her condition, said in an interview over a media platform, “She has pneumonia. Also, Lata’s left ventricular has failed. Her condition remains serious. However, there has been some improvement in the recent past. The left ventricular gives the most oxygen to the heart. The body needs to function in a normal and healthy way.”
She was rushed to the hospital after having difficulty breathing at 2 am on Sunday. She has been under treatment ever since. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was shifted to the ventilator. Shabana Azmi had prayed for Lata’s early recovery. She wrote on Twitter, ‘Aadab and may you get thousands of prayers to get well and come back home immediately’. At the same time, before this Hema Malini had tweeted and shared her blessings.
Hema wrote, ‘God bless her.’
Music composer Adnan Sami also wished Lata Ji’ speedy health.
Recently she had celebrated her 90th birthday on 28 September itself. Many veterans and millions of fans including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar had sent wishes to her on the occasion of her birthday.
