Top 5 Courtroom Drama Series Streaming on OTT Platforms

With several streaming giants showcasing courtroom drama, it is interesting to catch the details of the same. The recently released show called Scoop on Netflix also seemed the legal battle between the lady investigative journalist vs the state or Mumbai Police. But it was primarily inspired by the book that discussed the plight of prisoners. Nonetheless, there are many more series, which showcases the legal battle or courtroom drama, how about checking the top five Courtroom Drama Series here: 

1).  Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai

It is steaming on ZEE5, which is loosely based on the case of Asaram Bapu who happens to be the self-styled godman having countless followers. He was accused of sexual assault by a small girl that shocked the world. The film talks about the case of Baba in the courtroom but the lawyer opposite him ensures to show him the real world of jail. 

2). Trial By Fire

The next is Trial By Fire, which is showcased on Netflix. It is based on the children killed in Uphaar cinema a few decades back and their parents step up to take this case ahead to fight a long and unending battle to win the case against the callous and reckless people in the show. The show has Abhay Deol in the leading role who wages a war against the mighty and rich people, nailing them finally to jail.

3). Guilty Minds

The next show is Guilty Minds which is aired on Amazon Prime. It moves around the top law firm and its lawyers who fight different cases against the other group having Kashaf and Vandana played by Shriya and Sugandha respectively. It has different and diverse kind of cases which comes on their way. Brilliant stories and good showcase of courtroom drama in it.

4). Criminal Justice

The next show can be caught on Disney+Hotstar, which has been coming along in three seasons played by actors like Pankaj Tripathi who played the character Madhav Mishra, a downmarket but smart lawyer who wins tough cases. 

5). Your Honour

You can catch the show on SonyLiv, which happens to be a legal cum family drama based on Israeli series Kvodo. The talented actor Jimmy Shergill played the judge called Bishan Khosla who is seen trying to shield his son Pulkit Makol who is involved in a hit and run case.
