Bhool Bhulaiyaa First Day Box Office Collection : Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 takes a big jump on day 1
The year started rather slow for Bollywood but it seems that it is now picking up the pace. While Gangubai Kathiawadi and The Kashmir Files made good money at the box office, Kartik Aaryan – Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also have high hopes.
The film, directed by Anees Bazmee is a sequel to 2007 released Akshay Kumar’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The sequel has received a good amount of advance bookings. According to current estimates, the film has received approximately Rs. 6.9 crore net from advance bookings.
According to reports, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is doing well at the box office, with most major national multiple chains reporting a stellar advance booking rate. This, combined with positive reviews for the film, is expected to boost sales on its opening day. Though a collection of Rs. 15 crore or more would be highly optimistic, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is expected to collect between Rs. 11-13 crore on its opening day.
Interestingly, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is expected to see a boost in footfalls at single screens on day one due to its mass appeal. This, combined with the film’s high rate of spot booking, could easily propel it to become Kartik Aaryan’s highest opening day grosser. However, this figure is completely dependent on walk-in traffic and positive word-of-mouth, which will drive sales. Because it is a normal working day and the start of the weekend, the evening shows will see an increase, which should set the tone for this horror-comedy.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan has received massive applause for his performance in the film. Furthermore, it is said that Tabu is the surprise element and that she has outdone herself yet again after her outstanding performance in her past films.
