Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Box Office Day 4: Kartik Aaryan’s Film Holds Strong on Monday, Matches ‘Singham Again

As the battle between Rooh Baba and Manjulika unfolds, it appears that the box office is emerging as the true victor. The Kartik Aaryan-starrer successfully passed a crucial test—the Monday box office test. After surpassing the ₹100-crore mark over the weekend, the film managed to maintain its momentum with a modest decline in collections on its first Monday.

According to the latest report from Sacnilk, the film experienced the anticipated dip in earnings, raking in ₹17.5 crore on its fourth day, which is less than a 50% drop from its Sunday collections. The film had an impressive opening day, earning ₹35.5 crore, followed by a rise to ₹37 crore on Saturday. However, Sunday saw a slight decrease, with collections at ₹33.5 crore.

Occupancy and Competition

On Monday, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 37.45%. A positive sign for the film was that its Monday earnings matched those of ‘Singham Again,’ another major release from the weekend. While ‘Singham Again’ had been slightly ahead, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ managed to close that gap.

Kartik Aaryan’s Celebration

Kartik Aaryan is thrilled with the overwhelming response to his film. He surprised fans by visiting the iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai on Sunday. Dressed in a stylish checkered shirt, he celebrated by standing on top of his car, holding a “Housefull” sign and beaming with joy. He shared photos from his visit on Instagram, captioning it: “H O U S E F U L L boards everywhere. I wanted to take it home as a souvenir, but they said they need it again tomorrow!”

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is the third installment in the horror-comedy franchise that began with Priyadarshan’s film in 2007, which starred Akshay Kumar as the ghostbuster. Kartik Aaryan took over the lead role as Rooh Baba in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,’ released in 2022. Vidya Balan, who portrayed Manjulika in the original film, will reprise her iconic role in this sequel after 17 years. Like its predecessor, the third installment is directed by Anees Bazmee.
