SRK and Aamir Khan listed in 500 Most Important People by Variety Magazine
Variety Magazine is a popular magazine in the US. As per reports, it has identified three Indians in the list of 500 Most Important People in the world. These include two from the Bollywood and the other from the corporate world – Mukesh Ambani. Yes, you guessed it right, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been named among the top 500 vital people in their list.
These three remain in the top ten in this list, which was recently featured by the Variety magazines in their list of 500 Most Important People in Global Media List. The others in the list who were beyond the top ten include filmmakers Aditya Chopra, Ekta Kapoor, Ronnie Screwala, and Siddharth Roy Kapur. The others in the list include Kishore Lulla of Eros International, and Uday Shankar of The Walt Disney Company, APAC.
While releasing the list, the magazine called SRK as one of the finest actors of B Town in romantic genre and he has even bagged the Central European Bollywood Awards thrice in a row. The magazine also talked about SRK’s production company (Red Chillies) saying that it has helped the star to carve its niche in multiple directions. It applauded about VFX work the company has done along with working on web series and similar ventures for digital platforms like Netflix. While talking about Aamir, it called him as the “perfectionist”. The magazine applauded his work in films like 3 Idiots, PK, Dhoom 3 and last year called Thugs of Hindostan.
