Barefoot to Goa is a powerful and soulful movie based on an inter-generational bond between the grandparents and grandchildren. This movie has received a very warm response in the film festivals all across the country. Barefoot to Goa is an engaging movie directed by Praveen Morchhale which is shot and written like a docu-drama film.
The movie revolves around the story of two kids who set on a journey from Mumbai to meet their sick grandmother in Goa. The movie is all about the parable of relationship that is being ignored greatly in our modern society these days. The filmmakers are trying to raise some funds from their viewers to release the film in theatres all across the country. If everything goes as per the plan then the movie is expected to be in theatre by the mid of April 2015. Morchhale’s script does a commendable job in portraying an unplanned journey travelled by two innocent kids who can barely even read a dictionary.
The role of the grandmother is played by Farukkha Jafar and Saara Nahar plays the role of the little girl Diya. Prakhar Morchhale has played the role of elder brother of Diya.
