Bappi Lahiri’s final rites to take place tomorrow; DEETS inside

Recently we had informed you about the sad demise of Bollywood‘s iconic singer Bappi Lahiri. The veteran singer took his last breath on Tuesday night, 15th February. The singer was admitted to Criticare Hospital in Mumbai’s Juhu area, where he breathed his last at 11:45 pm.

Soon after the news, Bappi Lahiri‘s family members released an official statement regarding the cremation information of the late singer. The statement read, “It’s a deeply sad moment for us. The cremation will take place on the arrival of Bappa From LA tomorrow mid-morning. We are seeking love and blessings for his soul. We will keep you updated-Mrs Lahiri, Mr.Gobind Bansal, Bappa Lahiri, Rema Lahiri.”

The Director of the hospital Dr. Deepak Namjoshi released an official statement that read, “Lahiri had been admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday. But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home. He was brought to the hospital. He had multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) shortly before midnight.”

Bappi Da is very well known as the Disco King of the ’80s and ’90s. The late singer gave massive hit tracks to the industry, especially for his widely popular songs for films such as Namak Halaal, Disco Dancer, and Dance Dance. Recently Bappi Da had crooned songs such as Ooh La La for The Dirty Picture, Tune Maari Entriyaan for Gunday, Tamma Tamma for Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and more recently, Areey Pyar Kar Le for Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. He last composed the song Bhankas for the 2020 movie Baaghi 3.
