banjo-wah-taj-parched-and-days-of-tafree-box-office-prediction

This Friday you have too many movies releasing all from different themes and backgrounds including Banjo, Wah Taj, Parched and Days of Tafree. Let’s talk about the Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri starrer film Banjo. Riteish is known for doing a number of multi-starrer movies, which have eventually done better including the recently released Housefull 3.

However, when it comes to solo, he is very much choosy about such movies and Banjo is an exception to get him in the lead role. His earlier solo movies like Lai Bhaari did well but with film like Tere Naal Love Ho gaya was an average grocer. Now talking about Banjo, the film has a Mumbai base, which is why Ritiesh suits the best. Thus the film has something unique to cater having a good pre-buzz release and hence much to deliver to the audience.

Hence the first day box office collection for Banjo can toll to around 7 to 8 crores, which will eventually keep on escalating with the positive word of mouth buzz in the media. The next release is of Shreyas Talpade who seems to be doing his comeback with Manjari Fadnis in the lead role with film like Wah Taj, which seems to have less amount of promotion in the media. Thus one can expect the collection to remain within 3-4 crores on its first day.

Next comes the film Parched, which talks about the rural India. Thanks to the backing of Ajay Devgn the film has, hence the kind of media attention it is getting will certainly help the movie to some extent. It has the potential to attract the niche audience in the multiplexes and rest would go for the word of moutn buzz in the media. Thus one can expect Parched to score one or two crored at the box office. The last movie Days of Tafree goes unnoticed hence the film will not go beyond one crore at the box office.
