From the very first day of the release of Bang Bang, the movie has done incredibly well over the Box Office. Thanks to the added and incredible amount of Masala including action, music, dance, dialogue and above all the presence of hot and sensual Katrina, the movie was able to garner the expected response over the box office. Having released in more than 4500 screen in India and abroad, the movie was able to collect 135 crore in its first week, whereas if you add up the overseas collection the total figure reaches out to be around 249 crores.
Thanks to the four day long holidays, which worked in the favour of Bang Bang. Once again the magic of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif has sparked off over the box office collecting that big and whopping amount over the box office. In fact, Bang Bang was able to enter in the 100 crore club in just no time on its fifth day, which itself is remarkable. Thus giving a very good comeback to the otherwise non performing director like Siddharth Anand. Though the movie started with a bang, however, the weekday collection dropped down. Perhaps this is also due to the other big banner release of Haider, which could have hampered its collection. Had Bang Bang been the solo release it wouldn’t have hampered its weekdays collection.
