On Friday, Prime Video announced the global streaming premiere of the highly entertaining film “Bad Newz,” which is now available worldwide on the platform starting September 13. Featuring a fresh trio of Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk in lead roles, the film explores the intriguing concept of heteropaternal superfecundation—a phenomenon where a woman’s eggs are fertilized by the sperm of two different men during the same cycle.
Making its digital debut approximately two months after its theatrical release, “Bad Newz” is poised to take the streaming world by storm, following its successful run in cinemas that left audiences in stitches. The film, celebrated for its delightful storyline and catchy music, is inspired by true events and centers on aspiring chef Saloni Bagga (Triptii Dimri), who discovers she is pregnant with twins from two different fathers, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal as Akhil Chadha and Ammy Virk as Gurbir Singh Pannu. This unexpected twist ignites a hilarious rivalry between the two men as they vie for Saloni’s affection amid the chaos that ensues.
