Baba Ramdev is India’s yoga guru. He advocates a yoga-based life of cleanliness and serenity. One would expect that he would keep himself out of our tinseltown’s business. But that does not appear to be the case, since he has slammed various Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan.
According to NDTV, while addressing in front of a large crowd during an anti-drugs campaign in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, Baba Ramdev made some scathing claims against Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. He stated:
“Shah Rukh Khan’s son (Aryan Khan) was caught doing drugs at a drug party. He went to jail. Salman Khan takes drugs. I don’t know about Aamir Khan. God knows about these actors. Who knows how many film stars take drugs. And actresses – even worse. In the film industry, it is drugs everywhere. There are drugs in Bollywood, drugs in politics.”
Ramdev went on to say at the “Aryaveer Sammelan” that:
“During elections, liquor is supplied.” We should make a pledge that India will be rid of all drug addictions. We will start a movement for this.” Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, was detained in a narcotics case last year, but he was eventually released and exonerated of all charges since there was no proof. As a result, Baba Ramdev’s comments are currently without foundation. Neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Salman Khan has responded to the yoga instructor’s claims.
