Ayushmann Khurrana & Jitendra Kumar’s kiss scene in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan ESCAPES censor board’s scissor

kissing scene

As the film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is all set to hit the screens this Friday, it seems to have been submitted to the Censor Board for the certificate. It did pass the test of the Central Board of Film Certification getting the U/A Certificate. However, many were worried as to how the CBFC would react to the kissing scene between Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar in the gay love story.

The fact of the matter is, the film did not face any modification as such from the Censor Board despite being based on a taboo topic. All it came was a few minor changes, which did not hamper the storyline of the film. Sources close to the actor confirmed that the film has got the U/A certificate. However, the controversial kiss between the homosexual couple played by the lead actors did pass the censor board untouched. Also, the censor board has not touched the dialogues that talked about homofierce desire and homophobia as well.

They very well realize the fact that by touching the same they would dilute the film and hamper the storyline of the film in a big way. Also, the board members felt that the film did go on the naughty zone but it did not make any of them have an uncomfortable watch. This made them grant the U/A certificate. The only changes seen in the film was the dialogue about some violence between some women and Malayalis. The board asked to change the word Bhains Ki Aankh and the visual of Maanvi Gagroo too was asked to be removed claimed the sources.
