Its been a year or so to see Anushka Sharma away from the silver screen. She has been enjoying a good time with her husband. But now we hear that she is gearing up for her next venture which is a biopic film made on the life of a woman cricketer called Jhulan Goswami. She was also spotted last month at the Eden Gardens with the lady cricketer that formally started the film’s preparation.
Her pictures with Goswami seemed going viral on social media, but Anushka has kept things low profile and chose not to talk about it. She has signed the dotted lines for the film and is gearing up for it which is in the pre-production phase. However, as per the sources close to the actress, she is all set to make an official announcement of her new venture. She will be shooting an exclusive video of the same which she will be shooting at the Eden Gardens with the lady cricketer Jhulan.
Talking about the lady on which this film is made, she has remained an all-round cricketer and has been the captain of India’s national women’s cricket team. She announced her retirement in August 2018 from the WT20Is. She has bagged a couple of awards including getting the ICC Women’s Player in the year 2007 and getting the M.A. Chidambaram Trophy for the category of Best Women Cricketer in 2011. The film will be produced under the banner of Sonny Pictures and is expected to hit the floor soon, while it release the coming year.
