Will Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar starring Arjun Kapoor to release on OTT?
The film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra has been the talk of the ever since it was announced. Thanks to its unique storyline and the star cast, which comes together for the first time for any film. The makers have released the trailer and a few posters earlier, and the film was slated to release on 20th March 2020. However, with the current shutdown, the film seems to be in doldrum.Â
The theatres are shut down and it will be affected for the next few more months from now even the lockdown will open. Also, people would avoid visiting the public places for obvious reasons till we see the COVID 19 cases vanishing from the country. Recently Arjun Kapoor the leading man of the film was seen talking about the film. When asked if the film would be released on any OTT platform, he said he is not involved in it as the makers of the film have the answer.Â
He further said entertainment should come with reality checks and with the current grim situation no one would ever care to get entertainment at the cost of their lives. Hence if the makers plan to come out on the OTT platform, it won’t be wrong for both said the actor. He further said that certain movies can get their release on OTT platforms, which the high budget film may avoid going the digital way. Well, let’s see how things would move as there is no clear indication from the actor that the film is going to release on OTT. But at the same time he is okay with it.
