Deepika Padukone Picked for Next Lead in Pradeep Sarkar’s Project!

Deepika Padukone has been doing really well in her upcoming projects and will soon be delivering her outstanding performance in an upcoming film based on the acid attack victim, Laxmi. It is mainly due to her extremely talented works that she has been reported to play the lead in Pradeep Sarkar’s next project. Getting on the list of Pradeep Sarkar, Deepika will be making her appearance in the next mega project of the ace filmmaker.

Deepika has been well known for her exceptional acting deliveries with all kinds of films she has played for. She was last year in the headlines due to her much awaited Shaadi Saga as she got married to the ace superstar Ranveer Singh.

As per received reports, it has been known that the actress is firm favourite to bag the central role in this Hindi remake of ‘Noti Binodini’, which was a story that revolved around the renowned Bengali actress, Binodini Dasi.

As per a source statement shared on a media publication, it was known that, “Deepika Padukone has been finalised for the prestigious Pradeep Sarkar project. She will play the central character of Binodini Dasi in the movie. It is believed that Vidya Balan was also in contention for the role with whom Pradeep Sarkar has earlier worked in Parineeta.”

Apart from this, Padukone has very recently finished work on ’83’ along with his husband, Ranveer Singh where she will be playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife while Ranveer will be playing the role of the ace cricketer star and first World Cup winning captain, Kapil Dev.
