The ongoing reality show – Indian Idol seems to have gained a good TRP thanks to the talented participants who come along to prove their worth in the program. This time again we had similar judges on the show – singer and music composer Vishal, singer Neha Kakkar and Anu Malik the music director. Anu Malik had to step down earlier due to the #MeToo allegation, however, he was reinstated later when the new season started this year. He had to step down as singers like Sona Mahapatra and Shweta Pandit seemed going against the conduct of Malik.
But when Malik was reinstated on the judge’s chair this season, we saw a couple of women getting grieved. With passing time, it aggravated and now amplified to the voices like Neha Bhasin going against the Sony’s decision to reinstate Malik. With the agitation flaring up and people are gearing up against the reinstate decision of Malik on the show, the channel has finally has decided to reconsider over their decision.
As per the sources close to the show, Anu Malik was seen showing the door in the coming few weeks. They were seen thinking about the backlash against the music director has died down on its own death but that was not the case. They were never seen anticipated about the new rising roar of the protest seen against the return of the reality show.
