Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj was streaming illegally on 700 websites, HC orders ban

Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is currently in the headlines due to his latest film Drishyam 2, which releases today. This Abhishek Pathak directorial continues what was talked about in the first season with more twists and turns. Now, another latest information is regarding the actor’s 2021 film, Bhuj: the Pride of India. Delhi High Court has ordered restrictions over its run by 700 websites which are streaming it illegally. After Justice Pratibha M. Singh’s order, they have been asked to permanently remove it from their domain to avoid strict action.

Actually, this demand was made on behalf of the film’s director by filing a case demanding the court to stop its illegal; streaming. Earlier in August, the court had passed a provisional plea order, in which 42 websites were blocked. This was done in violation of copyright and broadcast rules. But later, it was found that there are 689 more such websites on which streaming is being done illegally.

At the same time, the court has given its verdict in favour of the producer. The producer had said that if the film continued to be shown in such an illegal manner, he will suffer a lot. At the same time, the court has ordered these illegal websites to remove the film forever and said that the domain names of the sites where this film is shown illegally would be suspended or locked.
