P.O.W.-Bandi Yuddh Ke is a political thriller, which is all set to hit the TV channel Star Plus on 7th of November 2016. The TV show is loosely based on the Israeli drama called Hatufim. The TV show is directed and produced by Nikhil Advani who happens to be a popular filmmaker and produced the same under the banner of Emmay Entertainment. The promos of the TV show is on air on different TV channels including the Star Plus wherein it is getting a good round of applauds for the same.  In fact, a number of B Town celebrities have praised for the trailer. The TV show has a slew of actors including Amrita Puri, SandhyaMridul, PurabKohli, Satyadeep Mishra, Manish Chaudhary and Himank Gupta in the lead roles, while Sujata Kumar, Arun Bali, SuhasAhuja and Ghazal Thakur are seen in the supporting role.
Talking about the plot, there are two soldiers who after 17 years of captivity are seen sharing their dark secret while returning to their families. The two families try to pick up wherein they are seen leaving them away whereas the government agent tries to expose their dark secret. In fact, it was the channel only who approached NikkhilAdvani after having a look at his latest movie D-Day for directing the show that are based on similar plot for them. The channel then asked him to catch both the American and Israel based serials like Homeland and Hatufim respectively. Advani is then seen considering the latter to make the TV show.
