Article 375 1st Day Box Office Collection

Section 375

Section 375 Box Office

It was a busy Friday as we could see three films releasing, which certainly include the one called Article 375. The edgy courtroom drama had a decent buzz in the media along with having positive reviews by most of the critics that helped the film to score. However, the competition seemed at the higher side with the other two films particularly from the Ayushmann Khurrana film – Dream Girl. Hence the collection at the end of the day seemed getting hampered at the box office.

Looking at the occupancy report of the film, it started with 30 to 35 per cent, which escalated to 60 per cent in the evening and the night shows. It speaks a lot about the buzz in the media. As per reports, the 1st-day box office collection for Article 375 was not less than 5.6 Crores. However, the trade pundits feel that there will be an escalation in the coming first weekend for the obvious reasons.

The film Section 375 has a decent star cast, yet it failed to attract a large section of the crowd for the reason it turned technical in many ways. The film somewhere only attracted the multiplex crowd which has the understanding of the law and the known sections of the Indian Penal Court, hence it failed to become a massy film. However, the makers only had targetted the classy audience that exists in multiplexes, hence the single screens remained affected on the day one. Article 375 is likely to score around 20 crores at the end of the first weekend. Well, let’s see how things would move, but at the moment things are smooth.
