Anil and Sunita Kapoor’s entire family dressed up for their daughter, film producer Rhea Kapoor, sibling of Sonam and Harshvardhan Kapoor, and her long-time partner Karan Boolani’s low-key wedding.
Despite the fact that the Kapoors made no formal declaration about this significant family event, the activities surrounding their Juhu house on Saturday, particularly the continuous trickle of visitors in flashy cars, reinforced the social media buzz about the wedding. Before the beginning of the lunar month of Bhadra on August 23, Saturday appeared to be the last fortunate day for weddings.
After their wedding, the newlyweds were seen leaving in a car late in the evening. They were dressed casually, and the wedding was described as a “spiritual” ceremony. It was not preceded by evenings dedicated to the ‘mehndi’ and ‘sangeet,’ as is customary in Punjabi weddings. Rhea Kapoor’s hands were not covered in mehndi, but she wore a stunning engagement ring.
