Extraction 2 trailer: Chris Hemsworth’s unstoppable military operator, Tyler Rake once again fights his way back from death to embark on a new death mission

Chris Hemsworth’s unstoppable military operator, Tyler Rake once again fights his way back from death to embark on a new death mission in ‘Extraction 2’ and from this newly released trailer we can at least say that this mission is equally or even more dangerous than his previous mission.

As the release date of Extraction 2 approaches, Netflix has released the complete trailer for the sequel, which shows that there will be non-stop action once again. The original film had some violent and superbly choreographed battle scenes, and the sequel appears to take this to a whole new level.

The film will once again feature Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth) on a rescue operation. This time, he’s on a rescue mission for a mother and her young daughter. Normally, trailers are released to introduce the viewer to the protagonist and give us a brief idea of the difficulties our protagonist will face in this film, but in this case, the trailer’s sole purpose is to give the viewer a brief idea of what kind of and how many action set pieces we will see in this film. And it does complete justice. The trailer previews an intense extended single take fight sequence atop a speeding train, as well as hand-to-hand action and shooting.

For the uninitiated, the first installment of Extraction was released directly on Netflix in June 2020 and got mostly positive feedback from the audience, particularly action film fans.

‘Extraction 2′ has the onerous task of living up to fans’ expectations after the original film was a tremendous smash, and we can at least say from the last teaser and this latest trailer that the directors have made genuine efforts.

The sequel also stars Daniel Bernhardt, Golshifteh Farahani, Sinead Phelps, Adam Bessa, and Tinatin Dalakishvii. Directed by Sam Hargreaves, ‘Extraction 2’ will be available on Netflix from 16 June.
