Bigg Boss OTT 3: BB4 Winner Shweta Tiwari Throws Brutal Shade at the Show, “During My Time They Took Celebs, Now They Take Anyone

Bigg Boss OTT 3 is gradually gaining momentum, but it seems to lack the same level of buzz as its previous seasons. Interestingly, even some former contestants took a cheeky jab at the show for its choice of participants. Joining the conversation, Shweta Tiwari, the winner of Bigg Boss 4, didn’t hold back in expressing her thoughts on the recent seasons of the reality show. She made some blunt remarks, highlighting her disappointment with the show’s current direction. It’s worth noting that the show, which used to exclusively feature celebrities, now includes a mix of individuals, including influencers, for its OTT season.

Reflecting on the recent seasons, Shweta Tiwari commented, “It’s a very loud show. During my time, they used to select celebrities. Just anyone wouldn’t participate. We were told that people wanted to see how celebrities live their real day-to-day lives and witness their true personalities.” Shweta Tiwari isn’t the only one critical of the show. Even the contestants of Bigg Boss OTT 3 have expressed their reservations about it in recent episodes. Contestant Ranvir Shorey, on the very first day, quipped, “If I had work, I wouldn’t be here.”

Recently, rapper Naezy openly confessed on the show that he initially hesitated to participate due to the negative perception of Bigg Boss within his friends and community. He didn’t want to face judgment by association.

In the past, Deepak Thakur, a previous contestant, shared his experience of how his mentor, Anurag Kashyap, who gave him a breakthrough in Gangs of Wasseypur, was furious with him for participating in Bigg Boss 12. Deepak later went on to participate in another reality show, Ace of Space.

Currently, Bigg Boss OTT 3 features a mix of influencers such as Armaan Malik, Kritika Malik, Vishal Pandey, Lovekesh Kataria, Shivani Kumari, and Sana Sultan Khan, along with actors Ranvir Shorey and Sana Makbul. Joining them are journalist Deepak Chaurasia and Tarot Card Reader Munisha Khatwani.
