Finally the Big Day for Arpita (Salman’s sister) has dawned. With lots of buzz in the media, the wedding of the Kick actor has come a long way. Every passing day, you hear loads of stories about its preparation, the guest list, the venue and other aspects of this big fat wedding at Hyderabad of an adopted sister of Salman Khan. Shah Rukh Khan and others have gone all the way to Hyderabad to bless the couple and be the part and parcel of this grand marriage ceremony of Arpita and Ayush. The Bride and the Groom
First thing first, let’s explore about the Bride – Arpita Khan and Bridegroom – Aayush Sharma. Well, Arpita Khan is the adopted daughter of Helen Khan who happens to be the wife of Salim Khan the father of Salman Khan. This makes her the youngest sibling in Khan Khandan. On the contrary, Aayush Sharma is a businessman who is based in New Delhi. The two were good friends since long even before entering into their relationship. However, the two came together as a couple in 2013, thus wedding was the most natural thing, which followed after they dated for a while. Their respective families had no issues in settling down their kids hence wedding simply embarked for the couple. The couple is said to be a made to each other lovebirds and their love goes to such an extent that they have tattoos of their beloved names on each other’s bodies. Earlier Arpita was reported dating Tevar Actor Arjun Kapoor but later parted their ways to go ahead in their lives.
The Wedding Date
Initially, the date for this fat wedding was decided somewhere in January 2015, however, when the two families happen to meet at one of vacations at Shimla, they had great time together and thus made their minds to prepone the marriage dates. In fact, this wedding in Khan’s Khandaan would be after 16 long years after the marriage of Sohel and Arbaz Khan.

Even when the wedding invitation card came, it became the headline of the media. After all it was of the most awaited wedding. The card is a blend of floral pink and gold design and comes out to be an extraordinary. The Wedding Shopping
A Fat Wedding would be incomplete without the Fat Shopping and Aprita’s wedding was no exception. The exquisite jewellery, designer dresses to suffice the wedding extravagance. Even Salman’s ex girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani was seen joining Arpita shopping sprees. Sources closer to him revealed that Sangeeta has been always close to the family and thus her presence and advice was always appreciated. All her dresses were designed by Seema Khan who happens to be the wife of Sohail Khan.
The Pre-Wedding Ceremonies
The wedding had a number several celebration before it finally hits on 18th November. Salman Khan has left no stone unturned to make the event special and different for his sister. If you take a look, you find the entire Galaxy apartment turning out to be an incredible place for the pre-sangeet ceremonies. The Venue
Now comes the venue, its time to hold your breath for this Big and fat wedding of Arpita Khan. The venue is none other than the beautiful palace cum hotel called The Falaknuma Palace being managed by the Taj Group. Interestingly, both bride and groom do not have any connection with the Pearl City, yet it was Arpita’s choice to get married from here. The reason was revealed by Seema Khan to the media and said Arpita always dreamt of marrying from the said palace based in Hyderabad. Coincidently, the wedding anniversary of her parents happens to be in November, hence the celebration has to be big, which made the Khans to choose this venue.
The Wedding Menu
Food has been always the talk of the town for Big and Fat Weddings and similar is the case with Arpita’s wedding. For this wedding, the choice was obvious the Hyderabadi delicacies. As per the sources, the brunches, lunches and the dinners would have all the Hyderabadi dishes to enjoy along with the oriental taste. However, the main course during the wedding function would include the Hyderabadi cuisine including Pathar Ka Ghost, ‘Kachche Gosht Ki Biryani and Biryani.
The Security Checks
The Khans have booked the entire hotel cum Palace for the Big and fat wedding of their sister for two days. Hence no one except the invitees would be allowed inside the premises. The management at Falaknuma hotel has even asked the special request for the high end security from the South Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police. As per sources, around 200 guests are expected to be at this wedding, while Police has assured to give the best services without adding any inconveniences.
Wrapping up
Since this wedding is after 16 long years in Khan’s Khandan, thus they are leaving no stone unturned to keep the event big and alive. As per reports, even Katrina and Mika Singh would be performing at the event. Salman Khan has gifted his lavish 3 Bedroom terrace flat to her sister. And as per reports, the couple would be staying in Bombay only as the groom would be trying his luck in Bollywood after the marriage. The Honeymoon plans are still to be disclosed as yet.
