Anushka & Virat Donate Big for Covid Crisis as they Intend to Raise 7 Crores
As India continues to battle the second wave of Covid, celebrities are not getting active in contributing for the same. The Cricket star Virat Kohli and B Town actor and producer – Anushka Sharma have pledged to raise 7 Crores for COVID 19 relief in India. They are now kickstaring a campaign called #InThisTogether, which is basically a crowdfunding platform over Ketto. So far they have already raised 2 Crores for the same.Â
They have been running this campaign on Ketto and they seemed to have gained a good momentum for this drive. They have networked with an NGO called ACT Grants, which has been implementing a partner for this campaign. The Act has done a wonderful job when it comes to offering good resources required to battle the virus. These include Oxygen, vaccination, medical manpower and many more similar facilities during the Pandemic. The couple celebrity has set an example in this tough time.Â
While talking about the same, Anushka is seen coming up with difficulty in order to get the second wave during the Covid 19 Pandemic that has pushed over the country in order to get the state of crisis. Anusha while speaking about the same said that the country is passing through the tough time in this second wave, it’s time to gear up and come ahead to follow the contrument taking up serious need for the same. While Viran adding to it said that it is an unprecedented time when the nation needs our support. Adding to it, he and his wife were shocked to see hence they embarked with this campaign.
