Watch how Anushka Sharma prepares to become Jhulan Goswami

Since Anushka Sharma revealed the biopic of Jhulan Goswami, fans have been on the edge of their seats. After an almost three-year absence, she will return to the big screen in Chakda Xpress. The actress, who has been papped in recent weeks, has been preparing and practicing to portray a cricketer on the big screen. As the team counts down the days until the shoot, she took to Instagram today to share a video from her training session.

Anushka Sharma opens the video by doing some footwork on the cricket training pitch. Anushka seems like an expert in the video as she practices her new skills, from gripping the season ball perfectly to holding the bat with ease. She’s dressed entirely in black, with a black top layered over black track trousers, a cap, and black sunglasses. She throws the ball right at the stumps towards the end of the video.
