Anushka Manchanda is a popular Indian singer and model apart from being the former VJ at Channel V and member of Indian pop girl group called Viral. She was born in New Delhi on 11th February 1985 and did her schooling from Amity International School based in Noida. Since her childhood her love for music was huge, which all started with Piano at the age of five. Her passion for music made her participate in an talent show called Indian Television Talent Show, Coke (V) Popstars in the year 2002. She then formed her first pop girl band called Viva. This platform helped her to sell million copies of her first music album. However, later difference between the members of the band led her join the Channel V as VJ.

Soon Anushka got connected with the youth with her programs, which let her travel within and outside country shooting and hosting a number of musical shows for the channel. All these activities made her popular over the small screen. She then landed into playback singing starting with south Indian film industry singing the song called O Mahire in the film called Manmadhan in the year 2004 under the music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. Later, she did got the chance to work with the south Indian films a long including Arinthum Ariyamallum, Kalvanin Kadali, Thimiru, Chennai 600028. Her debut in Bollywood started with the film called Golmaal, which was composed by Vishal-Shekhar, which followed for the other music directors including Anu Mali, Pritam, Salim-Sulaiman, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and so on.

Apart from singing, Anushka Manchanda was also seen doing a cameo role in the B Town film called Dulha Mil Gaya for which she has given her voice for three different songs as well. She was seen in a reality show called MTV Pulsar Stunt Mania in the year 2010, while was recently features by Akcent in I am Sorry song that brought her loads of critical acclaim. Currently, she is doing a number of video albums and singing for the title called What Would You Do, which is an ad for Grey’s Anatomy reruns on the TV channel of Star World. She also had a successful career in Bollywood and her title song from the film Dum Maro Dum gave her good popularity. Her love for adventure also made her participate in the reality show called Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi wherein she stood second in the show, while she also hosted MTV program called Stuntmani as she loves bikes a lot.
