Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, has been given a release date. On Baisakhi, April 14th, 2022, the film will be released in theatres all over the world. Aamir Khan Productions announced the news on Twitter on Saturday, writing, “We are happy to share our new poster and our new release date.” In addition, the production company has released a new poster for the film.

Aamir and Kareena last worked together as a love couple in the smash 3 Idiots, and the poster captures their connection. Aamir is dressed as a Sikh with a turban and a long beard, while Kareena is dressed simply yet elegantly in a suit. The love narrative spans multiple time periods of the protagonists’ journey and was shot in over 100 locations around India.
Originally, the film was set to be released on February 11th. It was then postponed when the Advait Chandan directed film apparently missed the deadline due to unresolved post-production work. The movie was supposed to come out around Christmas 2020, but it was moved out to February.
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao produce Laal Singh Chaddha. Advait Chandan directed the film, which has Pritam’s music and Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lyrics. The film is based on Forrest Gump, a 1994 Tom Hanks blockbuster based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name.
The film has been postponed with shoots and release dates a lot of times and now it is finally releasing in theaters. It will see a big clash at the box office with Yash and Sanjay Dutt’s KGF Chapter 2, Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya and Prabhas’ Salaar.
