EXCLUSIVE: Prabhas talks about Radhe Shyam, his Hyderabadi Hindi, dream project & a lot more!

Recently Cine Talkers had an opportunity to interview South’s sensational actor Bahubali starrer Prabhas. In this interview, the actor opened up a lot about his upcoming film Radhe Shyam, his views towards the film’s genre and a lot more.

Talking about the film, firstly, Prabhas was very much happy about the fact, that Radhe Shyam is finally releasing after numerous postpones due to the Covid. Further the actor said that Radhe Shyam was a challenging film for Prabhas as the character itself is complicated and to make it realistic with so much variation and to connect it with the audience is a very tough job. Moving towards the character, as the Bahubali star is seen playing a Palmist in Radhe Shyam, we asked him whether he believes in this. To which the actor responded with a no. Prabhas also praised his co-star Pooja Hegde.

Moving ahead, the actor was asked about working in different languages to which he said, “I did a lot of work on my language. I can read and write in Hindi. I ask for Hindi dialogues…I don’t like reading them in English, as the pronunciation gets affected. The only problem is my Hindi has a Hyderabadi touch, and at home, we don’t speak in that language. But we do watch a lot of Hindi films and listen to Hindi songs.”

“Maybe I’ll dub for 10 times, and then I’ll show it to everyone to make sure that it should be right,” he added. When he was further asked about doing films in regional languages other than Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, Prabhas said, “I will do any film, Marathi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri cinema… why not? Who thought a Telugu film like ‘Bahubali’ would become so big? Now, all doors are open. Anyone can make the greatest film, from any part of the country. You can’t term any industry as big or small.”

‘Radhe Shyam,’ directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, is set to release on March 11. This project was a collaboration between UV Creations and T-Series.

‘Radhe Shyam,’ an epic love story, will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Chinese, and Japanese around the world.
Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarsi Pulikonda, Bhagyashree, Jagapathi Babu, Murli Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri, Sathyan, and others appear in the acclaimed Indian multilingual film.
