Ranbir Kapoor is in the happiest moment of his life right now. The actor has finally married and fulfilled his late father Rishi Kapoor’s wish. Mother Neetu Kapoor was also overjoyed to welcome Alia Bhatt into the Kapoor family. After 5 years of dating, the Kapoor boy married his ladylove Alia in a small ceremony. The couple went back to work immediately after their wedding. Ranbir is currently in Manali, where he has begun filming for his forthcoming film Animal.
A source close to BL reveals, “Ranbir Kapoor was pleasantly surprised by the sweet gesture of the Animal team who surprised him with a special cake on day one. The cake had his and Alia’s marriage picture and the entire time congratulated with all hearts. Ranbir surely wasn’t expecting his, however, such small gestures make anyone and everyone happy”. The source further adds, “Ranbir is a man happy that finally he has finished Ayan Mukerji’s dream project Brahmastra and he can now fulfill his other projects commitments”.
Sandeep Vanga’s directorial Animal will be the first movie where Ranbir will be seen in a dark shade. This will be a watershed moment in RK’s career, and this dark and edgy persona are unlike anything the Hindi public has ever seen. Prior to Ranbir, south actor, Mahesh Babu was reportedly contacted for this part, but he rejected it. He claims that this character would be too much for his audience.
Parineeti Chopra was supposed to play the lead heroine in the film, but she had to drop out due to other professional commitments. So the role went to Pushpa star Rashmika Mandanna, who is equally excited about the film as Ranbir Kapoor.
