These days the filmmakers of B Town are behind two genre films – first is the biopic and the other is the sequel. So, in the era of biopics and sequels, it is no more surprising to see the films that did well at the box office to see their sequels and Badhaai Ho does not seem to be an exception. The film did well at the box office doing a massive business apart from getting good reviews by most of the critics. And as per reports, it will not have the sequel.
Ayushmann Khurrana had a decent 2018 when he had two big films releasing the same year. With Back to Back films like Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho, we now hear that both the films will have the sequel as they were liked a lot everywhere. The film Badhaai Ho is directed by Amit Sharma while it happens to have an interesting story, which is loved by all the masses. Now, the makers are planning for the sequel.
As per the reports, the film is likely to be titled as Badhaai Ho 2 and as the first part, it is likely to emerge as a decent grosser at the box office. This time the makers are planning to have a different story in a joint family with two couples. Amit Sharma is likely to be the director of the film who has directed the first part as well. The film will have Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra in the pivotal roles apart from having a few additions in the current star cast. While Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao would play an older couple of the fifties.
