Amy Jackson to turn ‘Supergirl’ in her American television debut



The Hollywood television thriller series ‘Quantico’ was the international television debut of “desi girl” Priyanka Chopra and the actress rendered the role of Alex, Parrish, an FBI recruit in it. And now, Amy Jackson is all set to join the brigade. Amy Jackson will reportedly make her international television debut with a US show ‘Supergirl’. The actress will be seen as Saturn Girl in this action-adventure series. This Saturn Girl, who is also recognized as Imra Ardeen, is kind and helping by her nature and proves as a great help for the needy people. Her birth happens on Titan, which is one of moons of Saturn. Melissa Benoist will play the role of Supergirl in this series. Saturn Girl lends a helping hand to Supergirl in combating one of her biggest threats.

The first season of the show ‘Supergirl’ happened in the year 2015 and it contained 20 episodes. The series is said to be DC Comics’ superhero Supergirl’s television adaptation. Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel created the DC characters. The shooting for this show is likely to be completed in next May, revealed the tweets posted by Amy.

She commenced her career as model and Tamil film ‘Madrasapattinam’ was the debut venture of Amy Jackson in 2010. The actress has acted in many Kannada, Telugu and Hindi films. Rajinikanth’s forthcoming much talked-about attraction ‘2.0’ will be the one in which Amy will be next seen on the big screen. The movie ‘2.0’ is anticipated to hit the screens in early 2018. Akshay Kumar features in this film in a totally new look. Prior to this, Amy and Akshay featured together in the movie ‘Singh Is Bling’.
