Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka undergoes cancer treatment, said excited to be back on the set!
Actor Ghanshyam Nayak popularly known for his funny character Nattu Kaka in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actor is suffering from cancer however the illness has not deterred him from shooting.
The actor was recently seen filming the show in Gujarat. Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, the 77-year-old revealed that he is positive in life. He also expressed his excitement about being back on the set. He also said that he is looking forward to shooting in Mumbai.
In September last year the senior actor had undergone a surgery after he developed a lump on his neck.
The actor’s son Vikas also told the publication that his father was doing well and needed to just visit the hospital for a session once a month.
“In April, we did a positron emission tomography scanning of his neck, in which some spots were found again. He did not have any discomfort or pain in any way but we did not want to take any risk and started his chemotherapy sessions again. He is completely fine. We take him to the hospital for the session just once a month. We will get a PET scan done again next month and I hope those spots are gone,” his son was quoted as saying.
Earlier it was reported that Ghanshyam Nayak is suffering from financial problems. However the actor denied the reports.
