Tajikistani Singer Abdu Rozik – Bigg Boss fame influencer Arrested in UAE on Theft Allegations

Tajikistani singer and social media influencer Abdu Rozik was arrested on Saturday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on allegations of theft. His management company confirmed the arrest in a statement to Khaleej Times.According to reports, Rozik was detained by authorities around 5 AM over the weekend, shortly after arriving at Dubai International Airport from Montenegro. However, the exact details of the complaint or charges against the influencer have not been disclosed, and UAE officials have yet to issue an official statement.“All we can say is that we are aware he has been taken into custody on allegations of theft,” a company representative told Khaleej Times, declining to share further information.

Who is Abdu Rozik?

Abdu Rozik is a well-known Tajikistani singer famous for songs like “Ohi Dili Zor,” “Chaki Chaki Boron,” and “Modar.” At 21 years old, Rozik is also recognized for his social media presence and his height of just 3 feet. His popularity soared through viral videos, music releases, and reality TV appearances, including the Indian show Bigg Boss 16.In 2022, Rozik performed at the 22nd IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi, singing the Hindi classic “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga” from the film 1942: A Love Story.In April 2024, Rozik got engaged to a 19-year-old woman from the UAE named Amira, with a wedding planned for July 7. However, the engagement was called off in September after he postponed the wedding, citing a boxing match as the reason.

Past Legal Scrutiny

This is not Rozik’s first encounter with authorities. In 2024, he was questioned by India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering probe linked to a hospitality firm.
