Amit Trivedi: A Voice That Echoes In Our Hearts

Amit Trivedi
Anurag Kashyap

Amit Trivedi, one of the leading musicians in the music industry of Bollywood, has made a place in the hearts of all Indians. In a span of 5 quick years, with an introduction from a dear friend – Anurag Kashyap – he redefined the music industry to be what it is today and everyone is in total awe.

The most interesting thing about him might just be his fluency in every genre and you can say that here’s where the speciality of Amit Trivedi lies! We simply cannot predict what to expect from his songs; Bhangra, Jazz, Rajasthani folk, electronic or the flavours of African folk music, you name it and he has done or can do it. All of Trivedi’s tracks have a fresh fusion kind of a element to them and it is this very refreshing notion that has garnered him millions of fans.

Aafaton Ke Parindey

For instance, Aafaton Ke Parindey is based on a dub-step influenced rhythmic beat, at155 beats per minute, and if that’s not wow right there then what else could be! These kind of new expeditions clearly give us goose bumps and we definitely crave for more. Apart from his fusion skills, his contemporary skills also never fail to amaze and surprise us.

Daryaa

Amit Trivedi won the Best Song category for the song ‘Daryaa’ from the movie Manmarziyaan. When he came up to accept his award, he spoke about his experience working with Anurag Kashyap. He said “The amount of joy I feel creating music for Anurag Kashyap’s films, I have no words to describe that. He also politely obliged, as he always does, the request to sing two lines, and sang the nominated song ‘Naina Da Kya Kasoor’ from Andhadhun. We’re all supremely in love with his words, his voice and his vibe! We think he could totally be the singer that all girls imagine being married to!

If you ask her parents, they would say that she learned to hold the Nintendo joystick before she even learned how to walk. Being significantly younger than her two brothers, she was exposed to gaming at an early stage and has fallen deeply in love with it, even choosing to have a profession in the same field. With a diploma in game design from Rubika, she now works as a game designer and developer, and can now play video games at any time of the day she wants, and if they try to ask her, "Just doing some research, I swear" will always be her reply.
