Alia Bhatt the part of SS Rajamouli with Ajay Devgn titled ‘RRR’
The Bahubali fame director SS Rajamouli always makes a headline when he has one project or the other. This time he is making headlines for the film titled RRR. He approached Alia Bhatt for the same to which the Raazi actress has given her consent. The director had already roped in Ajay Devgn in it in the male lead, which means she will be doing her debut with the Shivaay actor. However, she will be romancing with Ram Charan and not Ajay Devgn, while Daisy Edgar Jones the British actress will be seen opposite to NTR. We also have Samuthirakani the Tamil sensation to play a crucial role in it.
Talking about the film, it is based on the pre-independent India of the age 1920 and it is completely a fictional story, which is based on two legend freedom fighters – Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, which will be played by Ram Charan and NTR respectively. Both of the freedom fighters are from South – from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh respectively. The actors playing their roles would be playing their younger versions when they had taken the plunge into the freedom struggle movement. Interestingly, Rajamouli claimed that the inspiration for the film RRR has come from the Hollywood classic called The Motorcycle Diaries.
The director Rajamouli also has much of the VFX effects for the film, and it will be carried out during the post-production phase. The film featuring Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn and the South Indian stars is a producer under the banner of DVV Entertainments at the budget of 400 crores. The film RRR has Rajamouli’s while Senthil Kumar and SS Keeravani will be playing the role of cinematographer and music director respectively. The film will be released in the four languages including Hindi and three South Indian languages. The movie is hitting the screens on July 30, 2020.
