Alia Bhatt is back to work, starts with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi before S S Rajamouli’s RRR

Since the Maharashtra Government allowed resuming the shoot of films and Television in the state, the filmmakers have tied their laces to resume their pending work. Many Bollywood celebs are also getting back on the sets to start shooting. Alia Bhatt also put her work mood on and started her pending assignments.

Alia, who is working on two of the most exciting projects is back to resume the work from where she left. From June 20 she will start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.

“It is just 2 days of shooting. Then her work in Gangubai Kathiawadi is complete,” SpotboyE quoted a source as saying. The shooting of this film came to a halt when Alia and Sanjay Leela Bhansali both tested positive for COVID-19. After which the Maharashtra Government imposed the lockdown restrictions.

After completing the schedule of SLB’s film, Alia will then moves to Hyderabad to shoot her much-talked-about RRR. SS Rajamouli’s dream project also stars Ram Charan, NT Rama Rao Jr and Ajay Devgn in important roles.

“Her shooting in Hyderabad begins from July 1. It is likely to continue for two weeks,” the source added.

Both projects are on the wage of completion. While Gangubai Kathiawadi teaser is already out and created a huge hype. Rajamouli’s film will also be completed soon.

Meanwhile, the actress has an array of films in her kitty. Apart from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi, and SS Rajamouli’s RRR she also has Karan Johar’s Takht and Ayan Mukherji’s directorial venture Brahmastra, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.
