Alia Bhatt & Hrithik Roshan the Only Indians invited at the Oscars

As per the latest buzz on Oscars, we now see the organisers of the giant awards offering membership to different celebrities of the film industry. In India, they have only offered membership for Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan along with the two filmmakers like Shirley Abraham and Amit Madheshiya to be the part of the same. As per reports, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences is known to have around 9,000 members from all across the world. 

They are now adding more diversity in their membership with getting a wider representation since the past few years. This has made them ask these two B Town stars for the same. Earlier, the 2020 invitees from India include the documentary director Nishtha Jain the Gulabi Gang, Lakshmi and Me director,  Neeta Lulla the costume designer of Jodhaa Akbar, and Devdas, and the writer Sabrina Dhawan (from the films Kaminey, Monsoon Wedding). Besides, they have even invited the casting directors Nandini Shrikent (Gully Boy, Life of Pi) and Tess Joseph (Lion, The Namesake) along with the visual effects artists Vishal Anand (War, Bharat) and Sandeep Kamal (Panipat, Jal).

As the members are seen getting added in the list, the organisers of the award have even asked people to vote by announcing the same on their Twitter handle, have a look at it as  under:
