Alia Bhatt Graces Hope Gala in London, Captivating Audiences in Traditional Saree; Event Photos Create Online Buzz

Alia Bhatt took center stage as she hosted the glamorous Hope Gala in London, a star-studded event aimed at raising funds for underprivileged adolescents in India through the Salaam Bombay foundation. The gala drew a crowd of notable personalities including musician Harshdeep Kaur, comedian Rohan Joshi, and director Gurinder Chadha, among others.

The Mandarin Oriental, the prestigious venue for the gala, captured the essence of the evening by sharing a captivating video on Instagram. The video showcased Alia in two stunning outfits, a maroon dress for the red carpet and a graceful cream, embroidered lace saree for the gala. Her elegant appearance perfectly complemented the purpose of the event.

The Hope Gala was a platform for Alia to lend her support to the Salaam Bombay charity, which focuses on empowering Mumbai’s most vulnerable children through in-school programs for leadership and advocacy, as well as after-school academies for skill-building. These initiatives aim to instill confidence, boost self-esteem, and encourage these children to stay in school, providing them with a chance for a brighter future.

In the midst of her busy schedule, Alia was caught blushing when the paparazzi affectionately referred to her as “Vahini” (Bhabhi, in Marathi) as they spotted her leaving for the gala in London. Prior to her departure, she was seen at the Mumbai airport, rushing to board her flight. Despite the rush, Alia took a moment to graciously pose for a photo with a young fan, showcasing her genuine warmth and humility. As she made her way to the departure gate, the camera crew present at the airport greeted her with a cheerful “Vahini namaskar,” leaving her blushing and beaming with a radiant smile as she bid farewell and boarded her flight. The paparazzi couldn’t resist asking her about her rumored beau, Ranbir Kapoor, adding an element of curiosity to the scene.

Alia’s professional endeavors continue to flourish as she recently wrapped up shooting for her upcoming film, Jigra, where she shares the screen with the talented Vedang Raina. This movie, co-produced by Alia’s own production house and directed by the visionary Vasan Bala, promises to captivate audiences with its unique storytelling.
