Akshay Kumar, the highly talented actor is rolling on a lot of projects simultaneously, these days. apart from his regular assignments as usual the star is once again a part of few of the most inspiring projects that are in the pipeline. One of such projects is his upcoming film titled, ‘Mission Mangal’. As the Independence Day is nearing, how can Akshay Kumar keep away from delivering a patriotic movie?
Mission Mangal is thus, planned to release on August 15th this year. Last year, it was Gold that was released on Independence Day, where Akshay treated his fans with this film based on patriotic historical sports drama, and this year its going to be Mission Mangal. Every time, we have a movie from Akshay, it creates an aura of inspiration and this time we hold the same expectations from him.
However, this time Akshay mentioned that there is a very special reason for him to pick this film and no wonder, the reason is nothing but his daughter Nitara and the children of her age. Revealing the reason for the same, Akshay took onto his Instagram account to both uncover the poster and the special reason while announcing about the film release.
On Twitter, he also shared two photographs which offer the complete details about the film and its story line which is going to be based on true story of India’s mission to Mars. While another post gave away the deets in English, the other was in Hindi. Akshay mentioned, “#MissionMangal , a film which I hope will inspire as much as entertain. ‘Mission Mangal’ also holds some of the famous Bollywood faces including, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi and Sonakshi Sinha, portraying the story of the scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission. The film is helmed by Jagan Shakti. On the other side, Akshay is also working on a Hindi re-make of ‘Kanchana’, titled as, ‘Laxmi Bomb’ and is also playing up for a film with Kareena Kapoor, titled, ‘Good News’.
