Akshay Kumar starer Sooryavanshi finally it the theatres after facing multiply delays. However, it seems it was the best decision the makers have taken to wait and release the film in theatres. Rohit Shetti directorial is getting all the positive responses from the audience and the critics.
As the film collecting 77.08 crores over the weekend, it would be interesting to see the collection of Monday. After all, collections had been fairly excellent from Friday through Sunday, even during the holiday season. As a result, there was always the risk of a drop greater than the traditional 50% as compared to Friday [26.29 crores]. However, none of this occurred, as the film’s box office remained relatively constant on Monday, with 14.51 crores more pouring in.
Now the film has crossed the 90 crores mark with the four-day total standing at 91.59 crores. Now the film will enter into the 100 Crore Club today.
The film therefore will become the biggest blockbuster after Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior which was released in 2020.
There were also concerns that the Sooryavanshi would be frontloaded, with only die-hard Rohit Shetty fans flocking to theatres to see it. However, excellent footfalls on Monday show that neutral audiences are also coming in, giving hope that the rest of the weekdays will be good as well.
