Big B Arranges 3 Charter Flights for Migrant Workers to Varanasi
When just when we were hearing about the actor Sonu Sood who has been helping the migrant workers a lot by arranging buses to their home, we have reports from news18 site, how the megastar Amitabh Bachchan is also doing the same for the migrant workers of Varanasi. As per reports, the Badla actor has arranged three charter flights to Varanasi to carry the Migrant workers. Thus he is also doing his bit to help the people in need of this lockdown.Â
Since the past few years, we have seen the actor also involved in distributing food kits among the daily wage labours and needy people in Mumbai. He also played his role in arranging transport for 200 people in Mumbai back to their hometowns. Now, we have stories of Big B arranging three flights back to Varanasi for 500 workers. Sources close to the actor claimed that since Big B does not like his efforts to be publicised, hence he did not tweeted about the news.Â
As per reports, he was moved by the plight of the migrant workers and thus decided to help them. He talked to the India Airlines and arranged three flights for not less than 500 migrant workers to Varanasi. The flights were scheduled on Wednesday morning, which carried out 180 people in the morning flight. Earlier Big B had planned to send them by trains, but since he was not able to arrange the logistics about the same, he ended up arranging charted flights for them. Earlier, the megastar had arranged ten buses for the migrants to reach UP, while he has even supported around 100K daily workers via All India Film Employees Confederation giving them food packets and ration.
