Akshay Kumar is coming forward to help the needy during this coronovirus epidemic. However, the actor recently came into the limelight for all the wrong reasons when reports began to show that he had booked a chartered flight for the lockdown of his sister and their two children.
Not only did Akshay use his Twitter handle today to misinform the news, he also overshadowed the news portal that first published the news.
Blaming the people for publishing fake and unconfirmed reports, Akshay wrote, “The news about booking a charter flight for my sister and her two children is fake from beginning to end.” She has not traveled anywhere since the lockdown and has only one child. Sufficient legal action will be taken for false, fabricated reports.
According to the news report doing the rounds on social media, Akshay Kumar booked an entire passenger flight from Mumbai to Delhi for his sister, her two children and a maid. Reports also stated that the flight had a capacity of about 186 passengers. However, no one else was allowed to travel with them.
The report also stated that he was not given any special treatment and was asked to undergo regular protocols of sanitation and safety measures related to Covid-19.
The actor has been actively involved in helping the renewable people and the government in the fight against the coronovirus.
Recently, the actor-producer revealed on social media about the fake casting calls made by people for the sequel to the film’s hit single, Fillahal, sung by B Praak and picturized with Nupur Sanon.
Taking advantage of the lockdown, some individuals and groups used social media and reached out to aspiring actors, asking for their photos and other details, claiming that they were the casting incharge for the song’s sequel. Very few people knew that Akshay and Nupur would be in the song sequel, while the team behind the number would be the same.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar has some interesting projects in the pipeline. Akshay will appear in Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, Lakshmi Bomb, and Bell Bottom in due course.
