We heard the buzz that Sohail Khan is keen on making the remake of the 1982 classic film Satte Pe Satta with Salman as in the lead role. Now, we heard that Ajay Devgn has been approached to play one of the roles in the film, however, the reports suggest that has firmly rejected the offer and never intends to do this film. The original film was produced and directed by the Sippy brothers.
However, the rights to remake the film was given to Rajesh Vasani who owns the marketing company called Paras Publicity Services. Recently, we also heard that Hrithik has been approached by Rohit Shetty for the film’s remake along with Farah Khan. Later Vasani tied up with Sohail Khan that brought Ajay Devgn but he denied taking up the film. The key reason behind is to avoid doing a film which has been approached to several actors for the same role.
Also, he has good terms with the Bachchans and wants Abhishek Bachchan to pick the role of his father in the remake film. Ajay was one of the few actors who was present at the Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai’s marriage. He dislikes the idea of doing a film which can have Junior Bachchan in the role of his father. We have seen a couple of earlier B Town films which were remade like the Don of Big B released in 1978 that was made in 2006 with Shah Rukh Khan and directed by Farhan Akhtar. Hrithik Roshan has also done the film of Big B earlier and if he accepts this film it would be his second movie.
