Ahmed Khan is indeed a popular name of a choreographer, actor, director, producer and writer in Bollywood. He hails from Mumbai and has spent his childhood with Shahid Kapoor whom he has directed and choreographed in a number of movies. He is based in Andheri one of the popular suburbs of Mumbai and is married with wife Shaira having two sons called Subhaan and Azaan. He did his schooling from The Bishops School, Pune, he had a narrow escape to death not just once but twice, the first time when he was scheduled to shoot at Twin Towers just two days before the famous Twin Tower blast on 11th September 2001, while second time when he was supposed to in a hotel, which destroyed in the year 2004 Tsunami but cancelled his reservations at the last moment.
His journey in Bollywood started way back in his childhood, when he acted in a number of movies playing as a child artist in movies like Raakh and an orphan boy in the movie Mr. India. He later started working as assistant to one of the choreographer of the movie Anjaam. He later turned full time choreographer to do successful movies like Taal, Rangeela, Kick, Ghajini, etc. He was also seen as judge in a couple of Dance Reality Shows called Dance India Dance, Lil Master in the third season, etc. He did his debut in director with the movie Lakeer- The Forbidden Lines that witnessed John Abraham in the lead role.
In the year 2007, he got the chance to do a comedy movie called Fool N Final along with his childhood friend Shahid Kapoor and the man with 2.5 KG hand called Sunny Deol. He even produced a couple of movies like Paathshala in the year 2010 with Shahid Kapoor as his lead star along with Ayesha Takia and Nana Patekar. He also wrote the script for the same. He was seen dancing over teh stage of DID Dance Ka Tashan, which he was seen judging. He is known for his unique style dance steps and choreography. His upcoming movie is Roy wherein he is seen choreographing Jacqueline Fernandez.
